Breast cancer stages
There are two types of cancerous tumors that affect the breast. The non invasive tumor is a tumor that stays put in the place where it originated. It would stay in the ducts or lobules without affecting any other parts of the body. The invasive tumor has three breast cancer stages. In the first stage the tumor would be confined only to the breast. In the second stage the lymph nodes around the breast would be affected. In the third stage which is also called as the metastatic stage the cancer advances further. It spreads from the breast to other body parts like brain, bones, kidney, lungs and liver.
